The Bhondla and Dandiya program was held at Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses on Wednesday, 16th October 2024.
The program began with a beautiful street play performed by the students of Renuka Swaroop Junior College. The play highlighted how the trend of celebrating birthdays in a Western style is increasing, and what our culture teaches us about how birthdays should be celebrated according to tradition.
The Bhondla festivities started with the ritual worship of the elephant idol by Director Mrs. Shubhangi Kamble and Coordinator Mrs. Sarika Wagh. Balwadi trainees participated enthusiastically in singing Bhondla songs. Afterward, the girls enjoyed playing Garba and Dandiya.
In her address, Director Mrs. Kamble emphasized the importance of Bhondla celebrations and the need to preserve our cultural heritage.
Finally, everyone gathered to enjoy traditional sweets, with each department and the institute offering their treats. The event was hosted by Vrushali Lele.
‘Shravansari’ Celebration
At MES Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses, the festive occasion of ‘Shravansari’ was celebrated with great enthusiasm by organizing a variety of competitions for trainees from all courses. Competitions such as Poetry Recitation, Mehendi, Rangoli, Singing, Hairstyling, Ad-Mad Show, Culinary Arts, and Shravani Gauri were conducted with vibrant participation.
On 20th August, the morning session featured the much-awaited Shravani Gauri Competition. Women participants from different backgrounds showcased their creativity by beautifully presenting traditions, culture, and multiple art forms. All competitions were judged by alumnae of the institute who are currently excelling in various professional fields.
In the afternoon session, certificates were distributed to students of the Government-Recognized Balwadi Course and Teachers’ Training Course. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony, where the winners of all competitions were felicitated.
The program was graced by the Chief Guest – Ms. Sayali Hanamghar, an alumna of the institute, who after completing her Teachers’ Training Course at our institute, went on to establish her own school.
The concluding ceremony was attended by Dr. Mansi Bhate (Head of the Institute), Mrs. Kamble (Director), and Mrs. Sarika Wagh (Coordinator).
The ‘Shravansari’ Festival provided a wonderful platform for women of the institute to showcase their hidden talents and artistic skills. Many participants presented their creativity on stage for the very first time, which greatly boosted their confidence. This lively celebration of Shravan brought joy, festivity, and togetherness to the entire institute atmosphere.
This year too at MES Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses we enjoyed Annual Gathering with All Josh.
Chief Guest for same were, Hon. Asha Tai Rane and Hon. Guest Sally Marathe was present.
At this time, the results of the Pre Primary Teacher Training Course (Balawadi Course) and Pre Primary Teacher Training (English Medium) course Weekend Batch and Yardi Batch were 100%.
While explaining his condolences at this time, the Balwadi trainee Poonam Ingle said that I did not think of education while going through the responsibilities in the house, I realized a confidence in me in this course
Ashwini Kardille said that the Career Institute did the work of creating confidence in them.
The girls in the Teachers Training Weekend Batch, the girls in the yacht batch also expressed their gratitude for their career, and described how they were confident in their careers.
The prominent guest Sally Marathe does not have any education and use it, you should have imagination power, you should always have the power of imagination, we always say that there is no money problem, but if you overcome it with imagination, you should make the opportunity.
The chief guest of the program, while guiding the girls, said that the development of the child is an important issue, three to six years are very important for the overall development of the child.

The Chaitra Gauri Haldi Kunku program was organized in April month this year at the MES Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses. As part of the celebration, the girls set up various food stalls and fun game stalls. Students from all departments participated enthusiastically.
The deity Chaitra Gauri was duly worshipped by Dr. Mansi Bhate. During the program, students from the Tally, Fashion, Parlor, and Autonomous Courses were felicitated. Dr. Mansi Bhate and the Director, Mrs. Shubhangi Kamble, awarded certificates to the students. Dr. Mansi Bhate also guided and motivated the girls through her inspiring words.
The program was compered by the students of the TTC and Kindergarten departments. The event concluded on a joyful note with the distribution of traditional Snacks to the girls, making the celebration lively and memorable.
