The Bhondla and Dandiya program was held at Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses on Wednesday, 16th October 2024.
The program began with a beautiful street play performed by the students of Renuka Swaroop Junior College. The play highlighted how the trend of celebrating birthdays in a Western style is increasing, and what our culture teaches us about how birthdays should be celebrated according to tradition.
The Bhondla festivities started with the ritual worship of the elephant idol by Director Mrs. Shubhangi Kamble and Coordinator Mrs. Sarika Wagh. Balwadi trainees participated enthusiastically in singing Bhondla songs. Afterward, the girls enjoyed playing Garba and Dandiya.
In her address, Director Mrs. Kamble emphasized the importance of Bhondla celebrations and the need to preserve our cultural heritage.
Finally, everyone gathered to enjoy traditional sweets, with each department and the institute offering their treats. The event was hosted by Vrushali Lele.
At the Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses, from August 21st to 26th, a program called 'Shravan Sari' was organized, featuring various competitions. Women attending the courses enthusiastically participated in contests such as singing, elocution, rangoli, mehendi, hairstyling, and cooking. Renowned personalities from these respective fields were judges, encouraging the participants and boosting their confidence.
Two new competitions were introduced this year— "Canva Flyer Making" and "poetry reading". Additionally, the "'Shravan Gauri'" contest, which was newly introduced last year, remained a major attraction this year as well.
Through these competitions, many women from the institute got the opportunity to present their talents on stage for the first time. *Nikita More, a trainee from the Teachers' Training Course, impressed everyone with her powerful language skills and won hearts with her beautiful answer to the judge's question, "What does 'sanskar' (values) mean to you?" She ultimately got the title of **Shravan Gauri*.
These competitions provided a platform for women to showcase their artistic skills, boosting their confidence. On the final day, trainees set up snack stalls, which everyone enjoyed.
The prize distribution for the Shravan Sari event and the certificate ceremony for the successful completion of various courses was conducted by the honorable member of M.E.Society's Governing Board and the Chairperson of the Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses, Mrs. Maitreyi Desai. Director Mrs. Shubhangi Kamble and Coordinator Sarika Wagh were also present.
The event was hosted by Yogita Kulkarni. The entire program was conducted with great enthusiasm and careful planning.
This year too at MES Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses we enjoyed Annual Gathering with All Josh.
Chief Guest for same were, Hon. Asha Tai Rane and Hon. Guest Sally Marathe was present.
At this time, the results of the Pre Primary Teacher Training Course (Balawadi Course) and Pre Primary Teacher Training (English Medium) course Weekend Batch and Yardi Batch were 100%.
While explaining his condolences at this time, the Balwadi trainee Poonam Ingle said that I did not think of education while going through the responsibilities in the house, I realized a confidence in me in this course
Ashwini Kardille said that the Career Institute did the work of creating confidence in them.
The girls in the Teachers Training Weekend Batch, the girls in the yacht batch also expressed their gratitude for their career, and described how they were confident in their careers.
The prominent guest Sally Marathe does not have any education and use it, you should have imagination power, you should always have the power of imagination, we always say that there is no money problem, but if you overcome it with imagination, you should make the opportunity.
