‘Shravansari’ Celebration
At MES Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses, the festive occasion of ‘Shravansari’ was celebrated with great enthusiasm by organizing a variety of competitions for trainees from all courses. Competitions such as Poetry Recitation, Mehendi, Rangoli, Singing, Hairstyling, Ad-Mad Show, Culinary Arts, and Shravani Gauri were conducted with vibrant participation.
On 20th August, the morning session featured the much-awaited Shravani Gauri Competition. Women participants from different backgrounds showcased their creativity by beautifully presenting traditions, culture, and multiple art forms. All competitions were judged by alumnae of the institute who are currently excelling in various professional fields.
In the afternoon session, certificates were distributed to students of the Government-Recognized Balwadi Course and Teachers’ Training Course. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony, where the winners of all competitions were felicitated.
The program was graced by the Chief Guest – Ms. Sayali Hanamghar, an alumna of the institute, who after completing her Teachers’ Training Course at our institute, went on to establish her own school.
The concluding ceremony was attended by Dr. Mansi Bhate (Head of the Institute), Mrs. Kamble (Director), and Mrs. Sarika Wagh (Coordinator).
The ‘Shravansari’ Festival provided a wonderful platform for women of the institute to showcase their hidden talents and artistic skills. Many participants presented their creativity on stage for the very first time, which greatly boosted their confidence. This lively celebration of Shravan brought joy, festivity, and togetherness to the entire institute atmosphere.
On October 4, 2025, Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Course has organized Bhondla and food stalls for students.
At food stalls, students made various homes made available at a reasonable rate for sale. Various food stalls were installed such as Gulabjam, Fruit Custard, Vadapav, Panipuri, Appe, Wheat Cake, Chocolates, Masala Papad, Chana Chat, Samosa Chat, Pasta, Dhokla, Masala Bhat, Idli Chuteny.
After this, Sarika Tai worshipped the Bhondla in the traditional manner and various Bhondla songs were sung by students. All the students were engrossed in playing Dandiya and Garba. Finally, Khirapati was distributed to the students.
The Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses organized an institutional visit on Saturday, 15 November 2025, to M.E.S. Rani Laxmibai Mulinchi Sainiki Shala, Kasar Amboli.
The school’s Vice-Principal, Mr. Pawar, along with the teaching staff, welcomed all our trainers with a traditional aukshan ceremony. After the welcome, we were shown the nearby sightseeing spots. Excellent arrangements were made for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, information about the various activities conducted at the school was shared. Trainees were also given an opportunity to try activities like archery and rifle shooting.
Later, the trainees were shown the school campus and its structure. The school has a unique layout — each floor has a staff room and washroom, and the ground floor has emergency facilities.
The school also has the Sushila Godbole Memorial Auditorium, where various school programs are held. The daily routine of the students was explained to us. Every Monday, the Principal’s Assembly is conducted. The school’s grand playground was shown, where military training and various sports activities are conducted.
The dining hall (mess) is excellent. Students are given nutritious breakfast and milk in the morning, healthy meals twice a day, and snacks in between.
Overall, the institutional visit was highly successful and well organized.
Today, Wednesday, 19/11/25, the 165th anniversary of Maharashtra Education Society was celebrated with enthusiasm at Renuka Swaroop Career Institute. All the teachers and non-teaching staff and all the students were present. Saraswati Puja and the idol of the founder were worshipped. The program was conducted in such a way that the teachers gave information about the organization and the founder to all the students.
The Annual get-together of the Maharashtra Education Society's Renuka Swaroop Institute of Career Courses, was held on February 5th in a very enthusiastic atmosphere. The founder and director of ‘Re-Charkha’, Hon. Amita Deshpande, was present as the Chief Guest. Along with her, the vice-president of the society and president of the career institute, Hon. Anandi Patil, Mahamatra Hon. Dr. Manasi Bhate, director Shubhangi Kamble and branch head Sarika Wagh were present.
The program began with Ganesh-Vandana. The fashion show presented by the fashion designing department of the society was the main attraction of the program. The girls studying in this course wore floral theme dresses that they had chosen and designed themselves after stitching the fabrics. These girls/women from ordinary families, who had never stepped on the stage, presented a very handsome ramp walk in a professional manner. Prital Kokate guided them.
Certificates were distributed by dignitaries to girls/women who completed the courses of Pre-Primary Teacher Training, Fashion Designing, Tally etc. After this, the gratitude towards the organization for instilling confidence in them was clearly visible in the trainees' expressions.
The chief guest of the program, Mrs. Amita Deshpande, interacted with the girls in a question-and-answer format and guided them on what qualities they should imbibe in the professional field. Mrs. Anandi Patil, in her presidential closing remarks, guided them in very simple language on how to make good use of time and energy and how we can be useful to others while remaining happy ourselves.
In the following period, various talent show programs were held for all the trainees, in which everyone gave excellent presentations. The program was moderated by Amruta Devchakke and Yogita Kulkarni.
